Rule 28
Awards and Honors
(1) The Ministry shall, in accordance with Rule 27, recommend to the players, coaches, assistant coaches, physios or doctors, managers and related sports associations recommended by the committee to give awards and awards to such players, coaches, assistant coaches, physios or doctors, managers and related sports. The list of associations should be prepared and submitted to the Government of Nepal, Council of Ministers for approval.
(2) The Government of Nepal, the Council of Ministers, after studying the list submitted in accordance with sub-rule (1), if deemed appropriate, may grant approval for awards and honors to players, coaches, assistant coaches, physios or doctors, managers and related sports associations whose names are included in such list. .
(3) After receiving the approval from the Government of Nepal, the Council of Ministers as per sub-rule (2), the Ministry shall honor the players, coaches, assistant coaches, physios or doctors, managers and related sports associations whose names have been accepted by the Ministry, with prize money and certificates as per Schedule-4. will do
(4) With the approval of the Government of Nepal, the Ministry will give a one-time accommodation facility of twenty five lakhs to athletes who have won any medal in the Olympic Games, at least one gold or two other medals in the Asian Games or at least three gold medals in the official games of the South Asian Games. (5) Notwithstanding anything contained elsewhere in these rules, honors and prizes shall be awarded to gold and silver medal winners in competitions involving five or less countries and gold medals in competitions involving three or less countries.
(6) If there is more than one coach, assistant coach, physio or doctor and manager receiving the prize money as per sub-rule (3), the prize money mentioned in schedule-4 will be divided equally based on the number of attendees and the amount will be awarded as prize money.
(7) Sub-rule (3) bIf both the coach and the assistant coach are included in the individual competition of the competition in which the Mojim Award will be awarded, the prize money mentioned in Schedule-4 will be divided into sixty-forty ratio (60:40) for the coach, and the prize money will be given as a prize.
(8) The Government of Nepal will award awards and certificates to athletes who receive medals in national sports competitions formally organized by the Government of Nepal or the Council on the recommendation of the Committee and the Ministry.
(9) The amount of the prize to be awarded according to sub-rule (8) shall be as determined by the Government of Nepal.
